The international real estate company\u00a0Baltic Sotheby\u2019s International Realty<\/em>, beginning its activities in Jurmala, has organized, in cooperation with the Riga Gallery, the Latvian painters\u2019 contemporary and modern art exhibition \u201eSynergy effect\u201d, which has taken place in the Jurmala City Museum, starting from the 6.th<\/sup>\u00a0till the 9.th<\/sup>\u00a0of August, the year 2010.<\/span><\/p>\n

In the exposition, it was possible to see the paintings of the nine Latvian painters, as well as the works of the painters Liga Purmale un Ritums Ivanovs, which were represented by\u00a0Sotheby\u2019s<\/em>\u00a0\u00a0in the London auction of the year 2009.\u00a0Baltic Sotheby\u2019s International Realty<\/em>\u00a0organized the exhibition in connection with the opening of its office in Jurmala, which began its work on the 1.st<\/sup>\u00a0of July in the main pedestrians\u2019 street in Jurmala \u2013 in Jomas Street.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201dJurmala was deliberately chosen to be the place of the organization of the exhibition, because the city becomes in summer not only the center of the health resort, but also it offers the wide cultural program. Traditionally, the cultural and entertainment events in Jurmala are connected with the music, and our objective is to expand the horizon and to attract the society\u2019s attention to the achievements of the Latvian contemporary and modern painting. For the first exhibition, we have chosen the theme of the modern painting, which is represented by the painters, whose works have been already esteemed in the international exhibitions, organized by\u00a0Sotheby`s<\/em>,\u201d \u2013 the chairman of the board of\u00a0Baltic Sotheby\u2019s International Realty<\/em>\u00a0– Vestards Rozenbergs emphasizes.<\/p>\n

\u201dThe art, exclusive apartments and villas are connected in the same way, like the canvas are connected with the frame. For the perfect premises, the art communicates the individuality and special aura. The\u00a0Riga Gallery,<\/em>\u00a0till now the only one in the Baltic State, has established successful cooperation with\u00a0Sotheby\u2019s<\/em>\u00a0Auction House, and the works of the modern art were included in the year 2009, in London, for the first tine in the history of the Latvian art, in the auction list\u00a0\u2013 these works comprised Liga Purmale\u2019s \u201eSaturday night movie\u201d<\/em>\u00a0and Ritums Ivanovs\u2019s \u201eFrame 05<\/em>\u201d \u2013 which were successfully sold. The artists, represented in the collection of the\u00a0Riga<\/em>Gallery, are the greatest stars of the Latvian art \u2013 the painters, whose style has already become the\u00a0brand<\/em>,\u201d \u2013 the directress of the\u00a0Riga Gallery<\/em>\u00a0Inessa Rinke says about the exhibition.<\/p>\n
