AMĀLIJAS IELA 5A | Apartments in renovated wooden house

In the middle of Āgenskalns, among quiet streets where there is no intense traffic, one of the pearls of Riga's wooden architecture can be found - a residential building on Amālijas Street 5A. It was built in 1912 under the direction of architect Oskar Alexander Johan Bar.

The building has a completely renovated facade, preserving the historical charm of the wooden building, and a new third floor has been built. All utilities have been changed for the property in accordance with modern requirements. The project is ecological and environmentally friendly, it is breathable. The facade is insulated and covered with linseed oil paint. Also, all four staircases have been renovated, where new flooring has been laid, railings have been renovated. Heat in the stairwell is provided by classic cast iron radiators.

Special attention was paid to the improvement of the courtyard of the residential building - it is greened and closed. A resting place for the residents of the house in the shade of trees. In the yard there is also a playground for the small residents of the building, as well as 12 parking spaces and a charging point for electric cars. The building and yard have video surveillance.

The apartments are offered with full decoration, using high-class finishing materials, fully equipped sanitary units with high-quality plumbing. All apartments have oak parquet laid in the traditional classic herringbone technique.

The entrance door of the building was restored by a certified carpenter, preserving its historical appearance. New three-layer double-glazed wooden windows with wide wooden windowsills made in Latvian carpentry have been installed. The apartments on the 3rd floor are equipped with large windows that overlook a green courtyard with Latvian trees.
The residential building has its own independent gas heating boiler, with separate heat meters for each apartment, which are read remotely. Apartments with two and more bedrooms, wherever possible, equipped with separate dressing rooms.

Ceiling height in first floor apartments 2.85 meters, second floor apartments - 2.75 meters, third floor - 3.8 meters.
