COLONEL'S HOUSE is a renovation project comprising two historic buildings. Built in 1939 in the Neoclassical style, the buildings were designed by architect and civil engineer Aksels Kārlis Durbahs.

The building was officially commissioned in October 2026. The renovation included thermal insulation of the façades and roofs, replacement of the roofing, restoration of historic architectural details, and installation of new building infrastructure.

The building features newly installed water supply, sewage, heating, electrical, ventilation, and air-conditioning systems. Wooden windows with triple glazing have been installed, elevators replaced, common areas refurbished, and new apartment entrance doors fitted, while the original historic wooden doors have been carefully restored.
