The modern villa was designed by renowned US architect Vladimirs Arsene (Westfourth Architecture) and recalls the functional style characteristic of the area. The building reveals the foundations of modernism: the exterior form follows the functionality of the interior with minimal fuss. Special attention has been paid to the use of materials such as wood. Large glass sliding doors allow for maximum visual access to the surrounding green areas – a view onto the garden and greened rise.

The residence was unveiled by project developer SIA Domuss director Ralfs Jansons, who thanked all associated with the project. He stressed that the developer’s main goal was and continues to be the creation of real estate that will grow in value and liquidity within the entire Mežaparka Rezidences project. He also mentioned that it was quite an honor to work with leading specialists in the fields of construction, project management, and architecture.

The event also included greetings from architect Anita Siliņa (Birojs T22), who is responsible for Arsene’s project in Latvia, villas construction company SIA Merks director Oskars Ozoliņš, project manager Sergejs Frolovs (Būvuzraugi LV), and real estate agent Baltic Sotheby’s International Realty board member Ilze Mazurenko and sales director Līga Kohtanena.

The project’s first client Anna Orlova was also present – she believed in the project and became involved early on by buying the first plot in Mežaparka Rezidences. When asked why she chose this place to build her dream home, she explained that this was her third attempt to buy land in Mežaparks. “If this project had not existed, I would not have bought anything,” said Orlova. She was impressed by the high quality of the project. “In comparison to ‘old’ Mežaparks, this development had certain benefits, such as the choice of the perfect-size plot. It is also harmonious in architectural style, infrastructure, which will be well-maintained, and with good neighbors.” Equally important was the location. Mežaparks is an exclusive neighborhood with forest, a park and trails, sport activities, clean air, and peace and quite – all not far from the hustle and bustle of the centre of the city, added Orlova.
