On 17 July, Latvia Sotheby’s International Realty together with the real estate developer LNK Properties officially laid the time capsule for the Heart of Hanza apartment complex, which is being built in the historic centre of Riga at Hanzas iela 3b. The building will be put into exploitation in 2026 and the total volume of investments in this project is planned to reach EUR 35 million.

The ceremony was addressed by Aleksandra Strode, Member of the Board of LNK Properties Ltd, Genadijs Kamkalovs, Director of LNK Industries JSC, Klāvs Galenieks, Architect of AB3D Architects, Līga Kohtanena, Senior Sales Consultant of Latvia Sotheby’s International Realty, and Dmitrijs Latiševs, Chairman of the Board of BluOr Bank. The capsule contained the current newspapers “Diena” and “Dienas Bizness”, a Bank of Latvia coin with a heart, a message for future generations, a levelling device, a heart-shaped key ring and a bank badge, as well as a flash drive with the blueprints of the building.

“The name of the project “Heart of Hanza” reflects both the rich history of the city and the unique location of the building. The Hanza quarter is developing rapidly with new residential properties, cultural spaces, business centres and parks, all for the comfort and well-being of the new inhabitants. At the crossroads of Art Nouveau and a modern business district, the complex will be a true oasis in the heart of the city, with an enclosed area, private gardens, children’s playgrounds, a special area for pets and recreational areas. The building’s Hanza Street facade will be illuminated, the pavements will be landscaped and the bustling commercial avenue will create a safe and orderly environment for the neighbourhood’s residents and visitors. The project will not only be a comfortable living space for the new residents, but also a unique contribution to the development of the urban environment”, says Aleksandra Strode, Member of the Board of LNK Properties.

“We are happy to see that Riga is developing and that a new, high-quality living environment is emerging. We have already successfully cooperated with LNK Properties on several projects. People appreciate a reliable developer, modern architecture, functional layouts, energy efficiency and the feeling that everything has been taken care of. We have already booked several apartments in this project, and we invite everyone interested to a conversation,” says Līga Kohtanena, Senior Sales Expert at Latvia Sotheby’s International Realty.

The future apartment complex will be an energy-efficient Class A building, offering 127 apartments with floor areas ranging from 49 to 350 square metres. Heart of Hanza is a multifunctional building offering a wide range of services to its residents, including a private gym and a private kindergarten with evening groups. The ground floor of the project is dedicated to shops and cafés.

Almost 40% of the apartments are already booked or sold. Prices are starting from 177 000 euros.
