The apartment is located in one of the most beautiful buildings on Blaumaņa Street. In the building volume of the historic rental house at Blaumaņa Street 11/13, designed in an eclectic composition and finish, architect Aleksandrs Schmeling in 1901 partially incorporated the earlier constructed four-storey masonry building (built in 1881 by architect L.H. Geigenmüller), preserving the original division of its façade. The façade decoration was enhanced with individual Art Nouveau sculptures and ornamental details. Four prominent cornice brackets are adorned with sculptural reliefs symbolizing sculpture, painting, industry, and architecture.

This beautiful and noble building has regained its original splendour—its façade was renovated, and water and sewage risers replaced in 2024.
