Lofts & Rosegold

At Lofts&Rosegold all aspects of daily life are in synergy and interconnected. They revolve around the concept of hygge, a philosophy for happy living, which fills this project with harmony and togetherness. Here, architectural designs of different periods highlight and complement one another. The spacious hall is like a gravitational center, the commercial spaces enhance the opportunities for the residents of the area, and in turn, the residents support the businesses, all under the same roof.
Lofts&Rosegold project is located at Strelnieku Street 8, in a landscaped 3955 square meter area. The project consists of a newly built 7-story residential building that is connected by a glass gallery to a 4-story building built in Neo-Renaissance style designated as cultural heritage. There are 75 apartments in the 1st to 6th floors of the new building, with a liveable area from 50.2 m2 to 171.4 m2. The ceiling height is 2.96 m, even 3m on the 6th floor. The ground floor of the building is designated for commercial use.
The 4-story building deserves a special mention – it is listed as cultural heritage by UNESCO. There are several layout options for this building. One of them is the creation of loft apartments. It can also be fully used for commercial activities. The ceiling height is 3.11 to 6.54m.
Residential development Lofts&Rosegold is a prime example of synergy between the architecture of two different periods, in which the historic building is a gemstone, and the newly built one is the marvellous rose gold frame, bringing out the beauty of Lofts.
When designing buildings of modern architecture which may one day become monuments of 21st-century design, the developer paid respect to the history of the city by retaining the original design of Lofts building, built in a pompous Neo-Renaissance style. The Lofts building, with its pilaster decorated brick façade, rounded arched windows and decorative niches, as well as the ceiling in the apartments as high as 5 to 6 meters, will become the only pure loft lifestyle residential building in the Quiet Centre of Riga.
Rose gold was chosen as a frame because of it being a luxurious and warm metal which brings out the mystical characteristics of a stone to which it is attached. There are 70 apartments complete with terraces, balconies and private gardens in the Rose Gold residential building. Bay windows and protruding upper floors shape softly enframe the Lofts building, while the Rose Gold building seemingly protects the Lofts and brings out its beauty.
