Holiday house in the dunes by the Baltic Sea

Where the sun meets the wind and freedom inspires every breath - the holiday home in the dunes by the Baltic Sea invites you to come, relax and immerse yourself in the rhythm of holidays. The aim of this outstanding project was to create a holiday home for a family of kitesurfing enthusiasts to unwind after an active day.
Every room has a view of the sea and the endless horizon. The living room, kitchen and dining room are combined in one space. The high ceilings and the light coming from above give a airy and spacious feeling. Wood and warm colours dominate the interior, creating a buoyant and cosy feeling.
Construction materials used: reinforced concrete, metal, wood, reeds.
This outstanding project has received international recognition - it was nominated for the prestigious Mies van der Rohe Award, was named the Best Completed Project of 2016 in Lithuania at the Archiforma Awards, and was featured on ArchDaily, one of the world's most renowned architecture platforms.
